Henri Degre is MADD About Catching Drunk Drivers!
Drunk driving kills over 10,000 people in the United States each year. When it doesn’t kill, it can result in very serious injuries, sometimes paralyzing victims for life. Families who have lost loved ones due to a drunk driving accident take the offense very seriously, as should anyone. Take the founder of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, (MADD), for example. She lost her child to a drunk driving crash, and was inspired to found this successful organization, which, since 1980, has helped to save over 300,000 lives. Mothers Against Drunk Driving is working to keep the streets safe. Part of their campaign involves supporting law enforcement professionals like Henri Degre in their efforts to prevent such crimes.
Henri Degre is a former police officer, but even since his retirement from the police force, he continues to support his community in various crime prevention efforts. As GM of product development with Mobile Concepts – a trailer and vehicle manufacturing company based in Pennsylvania – Henri Degre and his team have developed mobile innovative solutions to crime, including mobile crime labs, animal rescue trailers and breath/blood alcohol testing vehicles (BAT Mobiles).
Bat Mobiles are just one of the ways that Henri Degre is helping to keep our nation’s streets free from drunk drivers. These vehicles enable officers to conduct field sobriety testing, and breath/blood alcohol testing, on-scene and indoors, which makes the process more efficient, especially in the event of bad weather. In addition to this innovative product development, Henri Degre fights drunk driving through his support of Mothers Against Drunk Driving. He has made several contributions to the organization over the years. MADD works to prevent underage drinking, and to reduce the number of drunk driving incidents in the United States each year. MADD also provides support to crime victims through a victim/survivor support helpline.
It appears that Henri Degre has a lot in common with concerned moms all over the country. In an effort to prevent crime and provide support to those who have been victimized, Henri Degre supports MADD through consistent financial contributions. Likewise, MADD continues to support him, and other law enforcement professionals, through various ongoing campaigns. Join him in the fight against drunk driving and make a donation today.
